The wooden style really made this cottage feel like a little dream, and the rooms were clean with a beautiful view. It’s best to come in the warmer months, when there’s less fog and more sun. I’d definitely go, just avoid a cold, foggy spell so you can enjoy it properly.

The rooms were huge, spotless, and had everything we needed, with incredible views. I found the hill’s steepness and remote location isolating, though, and several taxis and tuk-tuks cancelled on us because of it. The staff were smiley and kind when we saw them, but didn’t really talk with us or ask about our plans or how the stay was going.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were really friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was beautiful. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay in Nuwaraeliya.

There were cozy little places to sit and relax on every floor, and most rooms had lovely balconies for taking in the views. The location was incredible, looking out over the surrounding area. Our room was comfortable, the bedding was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were remarkably hospitable. It’s a peaceful place and works well as a venue for parties, although it’s a bit away from the main city.
