The place itself felt serene, and our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and we felt at home thanks to the friendly, caring staff and management. Randima, the Operations Manager, kept an eye on everything. Pradeep, the Food & Beverage Manager, gave us great support and looked after us throughout our stay, along with Randima. Hiruni, the Bar Waitress, and Sandeepani at the Front Office also gave fantastic service. The service from the whole team was top notch. We were 13 + 1 Pax and stayed from 28th Jan - 30th Jan 2026. Thank you very much. Looking forward to coming back to The Galway Heights in the near future. Highly recommended, and definitely worth visiting and exploring.

We were only there for one night, which was a shame. The room was fabulous, and both breakfast and the evening meal were good. The staff were fantastic and attentive, and the management team were kind and helpful. There was live music in the bar. We did an arrack tasting with Nadun, who was lovely, skilled, and knowledgeable. After that, each of us got a cocktail made with the things we liked best.

The breakfast spread and à la carte dishes were tasty, and we were welcomed with pumpkin soup and foccacia bread, a very unusual welcome drink. The staff were so warm, especially Sandeepani, Upeksh, Dhanushan, and Amosh, whose service stood out. This British-style cottage hotel had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. It's a lovely property, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Nuwara Eliya.

My best friend and I had such a relaxing time at Galway Heights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the cozy heaters were much needed. The architecture is stunning, and there's a beautiful garden. A gem for a magical stay in Nuwara Eliya!

The restaurant was a highlight. I had the grilled pork chop for dinner, and it was honestly the best I've had anywhere. My room was super comfortable too. The reception team made my stay at Galway Heights incredible. Vidhu, Amosh, Dhanushan, and Upeksha went above and beyond, arranging tuk-tuks into town and a driver to Hatton after the cyclone. I was genuinely stressed about that, but they handled it with total ease. I also returned with my jeans absolutely covered in mud, and somehow they got them cleaned and back to me within a few hours. Lifesavers. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya.
