28th NOV 2023 The food was amazing, and the cook was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the egg Appam and chicken Sausage. We asked for a water kettle and they brought one. It can get as cold as 11°C, so bring warm clothes. In the evening we enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the living room before dinner. We also asked for tea early in the morning, then took a lovely walk around the nearby Race course and enjoyed the views and fresh air. The owner was friendly and showed us the beautiful garden, sharing passion fruits picked fresh from the plants. Our cozy upstairs room had nice views, though the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly. It’s a comfortable place to stay in Nuwara Eliya, but a bit hidden and initially hard to find on Google Maps, so we had to call the owner.

A nice, clean place, and if you enjoy walking, Victoria Park, Lake Gregory, Galway Forest, and the City centre are just 10 minutes away.

We had a really pleasant stay here. The place was spotless, and the hosts were so helpful with arranging our rides and trips. They even made a PERFECT Sri Lankan dinner for all 12 of us!

The cottage is beautiful inside and out, and everything was very clean. Great value for money too. I don't hand out five stars often, but this place earned them.
