J's Villa

The view across the hills was breathtaking, and the villa was a cozy, comfortable place to stay. Service and hospitality impressed us, and everything was exceptionally clean, especially the well-kept washrooms. A peaceful, comfortable option for families in Nuwara Eliya.

We came from Malaysia and stayed four nights, from 13th Feb-17th Feb. The bungalow is lovely, with a natural view, and it’s fairly close to town. Santhosh, the caretaker, was kind, humble, friendly and helpful. We actually extended our stay because of him. We bought groceries and he cooked for us, and the food was really tasty. The nights in Nuwara Eliya were freezing. There was no heater, and the blankets weren’t thick enough, so we could hardly sleep comfortably. I’d suggest adding a heater, hair dryer, thicker comforters and blackout curtains. As an elderly guest with a disability, I’d also ask the owner to improve the facilities and provide more accessible entry for guests with disabilities.

Santhosh took such good care of us, making sure we had what we needed and serving delicious home-style meals. He was attentive and friendly, and his hospitality made us feel at home. The TV area was a nice spot for our chats, too. We stayed with family for two nights and three days, and found the rooms spotless and comfortable, with spacious, very clean bathrooms. We had a wonderful stay at J’s Villa and would recommend it to families looking for somewhere peaceful and well maintained.

Mr. Santhose made our stay with his outstanding care. He made sure we were comfortable, and his food was delicious, full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. The bungalow also has a breathtaking, peaceful view surrounded by nature. A lovely place to relax, with great service. Highly recommended!
