Getting here means going down around 20 to 30 steps from the road, so it’s not a good choice for older people or anyone with a disability. The rooms are very small, the surroundings are unpleasant, and the Seetha Eliya town view isn’t anything special. They only provide breakfast. I wasn’t happy with the customer service either, as there doesn’t seem to be staff on site. A friend of the owner in the neighboring house looks after the place. The bungalow looks old and Scottish, but I didn’t find it convenient to stay in and wouldn’t recommend it.

We had the whole house to ourselves that night, and the views were spectacular. If you get up for sunrise, you can hear mantras from a temple down in the valley. Madhan welcomed us with a pot of tea and was very kind. After a long drive from Sigiriya and a rough night at a home stay, Loversleap cottage was a welcome, relaxing stop. The house was clean and had a lovely style. I highly recommend staying here.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and it felt like one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed, almost like home. From the hilltop there’s a lovely view, and it’s close to Nuwaraeliya and loversleap water fall. A great place for a holiday, 100% recommended 👍
