Misty Hills Boutique Cottage

The cottage was clean and spacious, and they also provide accommodation for drivers. We enjoyed the great food and very comfortable stay, with courteous staff whose traditional welcome made us feel special. The location is nice, with good views across the road of the tea plantation, especially from the first cottage on the corner. Very nice overall, and I'd like to visit again.

The rooms were lovely, and all the bathrooms had hot water. There are three rooms: two have double beds, and one of those also has a single bed. An older caretaker was there to help us, and the facilities were all good. It’s such a beautiful place, probably the nicest I’ve visited, and I’d like to come back. The only issue was the gas supply, though that seemed to be due to the situation in our country.

Kingsley and Kirushan took such good care of us. They were kind and easy to deal with. The family room had plenty of space, with two double beds, a table, and four chairs. We also had a lovely view, and the heater running from 6 pm to 6 am was enough for us. It was a little pricey, but I suppose hill stations tend to cost more.

Manu did a great job with the booking, and once we arrived, the housekeeper and chef both went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The place was clean and well kept, and we had a really good time. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Thank you ❤️
