The bungalow and its view were lovely, but the service ruined the stay from the start. Vignesh, from the bungalow crew, treated us surprisingly badly. There wasn't a proper place to leave our plates after breakfast, and even though we paid for gas and brought our own food, the staff made a fuss about us using the kitchen. We weren't given drinking water. When we asked, Vignesh told us to boil some ourselves, then came back and took away the kettle with the water we'd boiled for the team. The breakfast buffet was presented nicely, with the food in the containers it had been cooked in, but there weren't proper containers for the BBQ either. The hospitality was so frustrating I was thinking of plenty of curse words, and wanted to punch the guy who had been treating us so well. The place could be relaxing, but hospitality matters just as much, and we had never experienced such mannered service.

The bungalow is beautiful and the views from the location are the best, but the service was really bad. The person in charge made a fuss about everything we requested. There was no drinking water, and when we asked, he told us to boil it ourselves. Once we'd boiled water, he took the kettle away. He also wasn't willing to give us utensils, and refused extra tea cups, saying they would get coffee stains. The rooms were dusty too. With service at this level, the beautiful bungalow could never earn five stars.

Two stars for the beautiful bungalow and amazing view. It could have been five if the service matched them. The person in charge was rude and unfriendly, making a fuss over every request, including giving us a rusted bbq machine. Make sure you have written proof of every detail of the stay, even the number of water bottles and pillows you want. OYO, if you don't change the people there, you're going to lose business!

The view was breathtaking, and we enjoyed Nuwaraeliya's cool weather during our stay. The rooms were neat and clean, the food tasted great, and the hotel crew gave us warm, loving hospitality. Cleanliness stands out most for me. A great place to stay.

This is a safe place to stay, and everything felt fabulous, from the hygiene to the hospitality. The location and view are the sort you might expect at a star hotel, yet it came at a lower budget. It was well worth the money, and I'd stay here again. Mr. sachira who works there was especially nice and friendly.
