The service is what made our stay at Nuwara Eliya Hills Rest stand out. Dharan is a one-of-a-kind staff member, dynamic and proactive, and really knows what guests need. He’s a great example of hospitality. Owner Subhash was very helpful too, with local guidance that helped us see the best of Nuwara Eliya. Like our stay at CityRest Fort, this was a fantastic experience. Excellent in every way. If you want to feel truly welcomed, stay here!

My wife and I had a really good stay at Hill Rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The place was clean and comfortable, which made the visit enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Dharan, the manager, made a real difference during my five days at Nuwara Eliya Hill Rest. He was attentive, friendly and ready to help with anything, and his local recommendations were excellent. I felt warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived, and he made sure every part of my stay went beyond what I expected. The hotel has lovely views of the hills and tea plantations, and my room was spotless, comfortable and had everything I needed. It was peaceful, a welcome break from everyday bustle. Nuwara Eliya is a good base for hill-country exploring, with tea estates, waterfalls and scenic trails easy to reach. I enjoyed the cool weather and every moment of the stay. I can’t recommend Nuwara Eliya Hill Rest highly enough and will definitely return. Five stars!

The rooms were clean, cozy and quiet, just right after a chilly day out. The hospitality stood out too, with warm smiles and thoughtful service that made it feel like nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the whole place had a welcoming feel that made leaving hard. Nuwara Eliya Hills Rest is tucked away on a peaceful lane while still close to the town center, so it’s both convenient and calm. It feels like home in the heart of Nuwara Eliya 🏡❄️
