The food felt fresh and homely, and the staff’s welcoming, attentive service made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Little England Cottages, Nuwara Eliya is beautiful and peaceful, with a cozy charm in the cool, misty weather. Our warm, comfortable rooms were thoughtfully designed. If you want a stay that feels both luxurious and cozy, I highly recommend it.

Pedro Barn is tucked a little away from the busy town, which adds to the peaceful feel. The old English atmosphere, greenery, gardens, mountain views, and cold misty weather made it a refreshing escape. It’s more about the scenery and relaxing stay than luxury alone, and it does that really well. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a set menu rather than a big buffet or à la carte spread, so the choices were limited, but everything we were served was tasty and satisfying. Waking up to the chilly Nuwara Eliya weather and the surrounding greenery was one of my favorite parts. The place suits a quiet getaway or a couples’ trip. One inconvenience was the guests next door being extremely loud at times. We could literally hear everything through the room separation. It wasn’t really the hotel’s fault, but better sound isolation or more separated rooms would improve the experience. I couldn’t mention it at checkout. We still hope to return, and I’d happily give it a full 5-star rating. Definitely a memorable stay. Unedited photos uploaded.

We had a lovely time as a family at Pedro Barn Hotel at Little England Cottages. The gardens and property were beautifully maintained, and the friendly, welcoming staff made the experience even better. The atmosphere and vibe were excellent, calm, and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Pedro Barn Hotel had a warm, inviting feel, with cozy surroundings and beautifully maintained gardens. The staff were attentive and friendly. Manageress Ms. Asma paid attention to every detail from the moment we arrived, and her excellent service and kind words really touched me. I’d highly recommend Little England Cottages for a peaceful, relaxing getaway and a touch of England in Sri Lanka.
