The hot water wasn’t working, and instead of fixing it, staff sent us to a shared bathroom, which was unpleasant. They were also very rude and acted like they could order customers around. I wouldn’t choose this place for a stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Only stayed one night, but it was very good. The staff were really friendly, the room was comfortable and warm, and the shower water was warm too.

The reception guys were kind and helped us out, even with an umbrella. They served good tea and the place was pretty peaceful. The rooms could be better, but the location makes up for that. If you’re travelling on a budget in nuwara eliya and want good value, this place worked well for us.

Being within walking distance of the city centre, hotels and shops was really convenient, and the location also has lovely mountain views, vegetable farms and a refreshing climate. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. We had a nice stay at Sapu's Mountain Breeze Guest House! It wasn’t exactly peaceful, though it wasn’t bad for a relaxing getaway. The surroundings might not suit you if you’re looking for a quiet stay.

The location was good, but the hygiene was a huge letdown. Everything in the room, from the sheets and towels to the rest of the space, was stained and dirty, and the bathrooms were worse than a public restroom. Cleanliness clearly wasn’t a priority here. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, hygienic stay.
