At Vishmi Rest, the standout for my family was Chef Nadan’s rice and curry. It was authentic, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and far beyond what we expected. His distinctive cooking is really memorable, and we’d love to come back and enjoy it again. It’s a peaceful hidden gem, and the warm hospitality made our stay special.

The food was a real highlight at Vishmi Rest. Nathan’s cooking was impressive, from East Coast flavors to refined urban influences. We tried the authentic, beautifully prepared Nasi Goreng, and the rice and curry selection was just as good. It’s a quiet, charming, well-maintained place with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The service was attentive and seamless from the direct reservation Viraj handled through our warm welcome and all the way to departure. I stayed last weekend and found it an ideal peaceful hideaway in Nuwara Eliya. If you want tranquillity and excellent food, Vishmi Rest is a wonderful choice.

The owner was friendly and very hospitable, and the workers treated us with respect and had a good attitude. We were there for a two-day trip and really enjoyed our stay. They were very helpful to us, and I’m happy to recommend the place.

We spent two nights here over the long weekend on August 19 and 20, and my wife and I had a really nice stay. The place is peaceful and lovely, about 4 km from Nuwara Eliya town. Mr anthony was especially helpful and friendly, looking after us throughout. I’d recommend vishmi rest for couples and families. Thank you, vishmi rest!

The room heater was a lifesaver, and the bedding and other facilities all seemed well maintained. The location was lovely and kept in good shape. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. We enjoyed every part of our stay.
