The young team did everything to make our recent stay at Windsor Residence lovely, and we agree with the other reviews here. Its location just behind Cargills Super Market is superb. The large garden and massive private car park impressed my family, and the rooms were nicely designed, with very comfortable beds and attached bathrooms that we all liked. I still wonder what perfumes they use in the bedrooms, they smelled so good. The hot, delicious English breakfast was filling and amazing. We’ve stayed at many hotels in Sri Lanka, but this was the first time we actually enjoyed a hot breakfast. Hats off to the friendly, attentive team. Thank you, and all the best!

We first booked one night through Booking.com after reading the reviews, but liked it so much we stayed three. This was the best hotel we found in Sri Lanka. The energetic young team were all friendly, and the rooms, bathrooms and whole property were spotless. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the hospitality was the best we came across in Sri Lanka.

Close to town, this is a very good place to stay. The rooms are in very good condition, and the food was delicious and served in a friendly way. The staff were so friendly and ready to meet our needs, helping make the stay feel safe and luxurious. Browny, the dog, always welcomed us. I miss him so much. Highly recommend.

We found the hotel at the last minute, and it turned out to be a great base near the town center. Supermarkets and other amenities are only a short walk away, with plenty of landmarks nearby. The rooms felt five-star, with spotless, comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were immaculate with excellent hot water. The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the owner went out of his way to handle all our requests. His easygoing manner made the stay memorable. He even arranged a last-minute barbecue party, which was fantastic. Breakfast on both days was delicious and satisfying. The food overall was exceptional, and the barbecue chicken marinade and garlic bread are absolute must-tries.
