We had a booking confirmed by email for December 24th, after booking this place for the last week of November. Then on December 23rd we were told there’d been a system error and our booking was no longer there. Call them ahead of time to check your booking and make prior arrangements.

The welcome was appalling. The hotel was filthy, with cockroaches and other insects, and the rooms were very damp. It hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived, so we left within 20 minutes. They even tried to charge us €70 for the room. A place like this shouldn’t be renting rooms.

It’s a large house with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, in an interesting setting.
