Randiya Beach Villa

The villa was clean and well looked after, with a quiet stretch of beach, sunbeds, and private access to the sea. The rooms are small, but had what we needed. There are shops and cafes nearby, on both the beach and street sides. It's handy for Galle and Hikkaduwa, around 20-30 minutes away, with Unawatuna a bit farther. Having your own transport makes getting around convenient. The sea was often rough, though the kids still had fun in the waves. We could hear some street noise from one room.

The staff were polite and really helpful, and the bathrooms were clean too. The rooms were very small, but the place was nice. With good weather, the beach right outside is a lovely spot, and it was clean. Morning and evening light made a great backdrop for photos.

We need to correct our earlier review: we were robbed 😡. About half our holiday money, many 50 Euro notes we'd worked hard and saved for, was taken from our hand luggage. The police can't do anything without evidence, and the landlord suddenly acts as if he doesn't know us. What a pity! Lord Buddha will fix it ☝🏻 Before this happened, we spent four nights at the villa and enjoyed our stay. It was lovely, the people were nice, and the rooms were clean. Regards from Georg and Petra.

A good spot to chill, with friendly, attentive staff and good service. The villa was super clean and tidy, and there's a small, well-kept garden. You can lie on a sunlounger, enjoy the nature, and watch the sunset. Right in front is the beach, with room to walk along it. Seems especially suited to families and friends. Worth the money, and recommended.
