The safari I booked through the hotel was a memorable experience, and dinner brought another lovely surprise when they gave my sister a birthday cake. The spa was relaxing and beautiful, and housekeeping did an excellent job. My room was clean and beautiful, with a stunning view and a private pool that was also well maintained. I loved the thoughtful details, like the tiger design on the water bottles, which fit the whole theme. The food was delicious, and the chef did a fantastic job. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the professional, kind front desk team. Special thanks to SAYURI at reception, who was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. I’d definitely come back.

The villas and rooms have a stunning, very well equipped, luxurious feel, and the food was spectacular at every meal. The staff were amazing. Sheshan, the porter, and Vishmi in the restaurant gave us stellar hospitality. Vishmi took especially good care of our group and anticipated what we needed. Highly recommend this Hilton property. For Hilton Diamond and Diamond Reserve members, note there’s no Executive lounge here.

The resort is modern and elegant, with thoughtful architecture that makes the spaces feel both functional and luxurious while respecting guests’ privacy. The spa and massages were fantastic, relaxing, and professionally delivered. Meals were consistently high quality, with generous, varied menus that didn’t feel repetitive. The wine list could be more daring or better curated to match the cuisine. The staff were remarkably warm and attentive, and every interaction felt genuine and professional. The rangers were top-class too. Our ranger, the head of the department, had worked in South Africa, and his experience showed in the safari quality and wildlife knowledge. There’s a broad, well-organized range of flexible activities for first-time guests and experienced safari travelers alike. From arrival through departure, everything was thoughtfully run with real attention to detail. An outstanding stay and an impressive debut for Hilton’s first wildlife resort property.

We were delighted with our two nights at Hilton Yala, probably our best stay in Yala and on safari. The facilities are lovely and the setting peaceful, but it was the personal care from the team that really made it special. Sayuri welcomed us on arrival and looked after us so well through checkout. At the restaurant, captain Vishmi recommended dishes and added her own thoughtful touch, with the kitchen team supporting her. The whole staff made us feel relaxed with their warm, touching service. I’ve been on Yala safaris many times, but this one with Hilton’s guide Rimesh was the best. His knowledge of the nature, area, history, and animals made a real difference. Many thanks to all the associates and to the person leading the Hilton Yala team for maintaining such high standards.
