For 20,000 LKR a night, three people got decent accommodation. The room had air conditioning, a comfortable bed with decent linen, a hot-water shower, and a place to sit outside. It’s a short walk to the beach, with an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand, and there’s a communal fridge. We did have lots of mosquitoes, but the staff supplied deterrents, including incense sticks, insect spray, a bed net, and a ceiling fan.

We’d had a terrible experience at a nearby “Inn,” so finding this place was a relief. We stayed for a few days and had a wonderful time. Eddi is a superhost, and you can also check out his Trinco Eddi tours.

Tito the lab is so sweet, and the beach is only a two-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We had a great stay and felt it was good value for money. Eddie, the owner, was very supportive and flexible about our check-in and check-out times.

The owner seemed to understand what we expect, having lived in Australia for many years. The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms felt airy and relaxing. There are lots of covered outdoor spaces, and the beach is only a two-minute walk away. I’d recommend staying here and will definitely come back next time.
