Wild Trails Yala

The safari was beautiful, and Uditha was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived with our two children after booking two nights, but quickly decided to leave after one because there isn’t much to do here beyond the safari. Uditha, the manager, understood and helped us cancel the second night. In just half an hour he’d arranged a campfire dinner and a taxi to our next destination. The people, cleanliness and friendliness were all excellent. With small children, I’d suggest staying one night for the safari.

I spent one night at this beautiful glamping site. The jeep picked us up from our driver, and we were welcomed with a drink, a lovely start. The forest surrounds the comfortable accommodation, which has all the amenities we needed. Everyone we met was special. And if anyone can pass along the contact for the guy in the red cap and green shirt who helped with our luggage, I’d love to get in touch :)

Our hosts couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating when we had to change our itinerary at the last minute. They also put together a wonderful BBQ under the stars for our final meal. I’d definitely stay again, and thanks for a lovely visit. The rooms had lovely dark polished wood floors and luxurious bathrooms, and the location works well for Yala game reserve. For our full-day safari, the hotel packed breakfast, and the driver laid out a lovely shared Sri Lankan lunch. We had plenty of water and a good jeep. A great luxury glamping safari experience.

Waking to birdsong early in the morning was a lovely part of this stay, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax. Living among the jungle scenery felt unique, with breathtaking nature all around. Our room had comfortable, high-quality bedding and well-kept amenities. The food wasn't very flavorful and could be improved. Since the property is within the Yala wild, it’s important to be careful and follow safety guidance around wildlife. Still, it was a memorable stay for anyone who enjoys nature, peace and adventure.
