There was no water in the morning, and after several calls nothing changed for a while. We couldn't even shower properly or flush the toilet. Eventually someone came and poured water into it cup by cup, which was absurd. Both rooms shared a weak water supply, and the other room also had no hot water. We'd booked two rooms, but the AC in my parents' room wasn't working. Staff said it couldn't be repaired and offered no fix. It took repeated calls late at night before they finally moved them to another room. Towels and toiletries were missing too. At check-in, the owner kept talking in our room for 15-20 minutes even though we'd just come off a long, exhausting journey. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at, and the whole visit was a very bad experience. I would never recommend it. Think carefully before booking.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and we ate really well. A great man managing the place went out of his way to make us comfortable. The owner wasn't there, but he'd arranged everything through the staff, including meals, baggage transfers, and check-in. We couldn't believe how much he'd organized, and every detail worked out perfectly. Highly recommend it if you're walking the Pekoe trail or just passing through 🙏

The hall was quite nice, and I enjoyed the food, but the hotel itself wasn't maintained very well, which let the experience down. It was average overall. Better upkeep could make a real difference.

The rooms were good, but the pool was really dirty. We got in and came straight back out because we had skin problems right after being in the water. The food wasn't very good either.
