Sun Siyam Pasikudah

We just got home after two nights at Sun Siyam Passikudah, and we loved it. The clean, calm beach was great for relaxing with the kids, and the food was delicious. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a huge bathroom. We felt looked after and at ease throughout the stay. From the welcome onward, the team made us feel genuinely comfortable. The welcome was thoughtful and unusual in a lovely way. Farhan and Kalpani were wonderful, always kind, attentive, and ready to help, and every other staff member we met was just as friendly and approachable. We’re already thinking about when to go back, and would definitely recommend it to families.

We came hoping to snorkel, but the water was murky this time and the coral reef seemed dead. The public beach itself is long and good for walks, and the hotel’s section was clean and well maintained. We stayed two days, and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, which we ordered from the menu. There’s a large pool, plus evening movies, billiards, a bar, and other things to do. We preferred the nature and quiet. The gym was small but had the essentials, though it felt stuffy, so switch on the air conditioning ahead of time. The massage therapist was excellent, and I have plenty to compare with. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff very friendly. Special thanks to the manager, who welcomed us and sorted out the air conditioner extremely quickly. Sleep matters a lot when traveling, so I really appreciated that. A wonderful place, everything was great.

The food was delicious, and the staff handled all our questions right away and very professionally. They also arranged an unforgettable marriage proposal for us, with musicians and fireworks, at a very reasonable price. In the restaurant, Dilshan was especially kind and attentive, and his service and warm manner deserve a special thank you. We stayed in a lovely house with a garden view. It was quiet, had a nice terrace, and everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hotel was even better than it looked in the photos, absolutely wonderful. I loved it as a place to relax, and we were extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommended!

The service was great, and the hotel has a beautiful beach and a really big pool. It’s the best hotel in the area. Stick to the local food. If the weather turns bad, though, there’s nothing to do nearby, so you’re limited to the resort. We played tennis and pool.
