The rooms felt cozy and clean, and everyone on staff was kind, polite, and ready to help. The restaurant was a real highlight too: breakfast had plenty to choose from, including Sri Lankan dishes and European options. Dinner came in generous portions, tasted incredible, and was reasonably priced. I was over the moon with it 😍 But what made this stay one of the most magical parts of our Sri Lanka trip was the view from our balcony. We could watch elephants bathing in the river, and even feed them bananas. Getting to see those huge animals so close was a rare experience. The hotel left us with a real sense of warmth and care. I truly recommend it!

The view is breathtaking, and the staff are really kind. We only tried the restaurant food, but it was good, clean, and affordable. There was no service charge, VAT, or tax.

Breakfast was huge, and the pool was cool. The place feels a bit touristy, but being able to watch the elephants doing their thing all morning made it worth it. The hotel looks out over the river where they hang out.

I appreciated how the team looked after the street dogs as well as the guests. That kindness meant a lot to me, thank you for helping the voiceless 🐾❤️. We also had a pleasant stay, with clean rooms, friendly staff, and good service.

The wedding was inside Hotel Pinnalanda, and even with heavy traffic on the main road, it felt peaceful once we were at the hotel. The setting was beautiful, staff very friendly, and the large parking area was handy. Most memorable of all was seeing elephants bathing in the river during the ceremony. Amazing experience!
