The view straight out to sea was stunning, and the whole place felt wonderfully calm. We had a lovely time at Calypso Sunset Hotel. The staff deserve a mention too: hardworking, honest, and very friendly. Service was excellent. I'd rate the hotel and its service 10/10. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed watching both sunrise and sunset here. It's right by Chilaw beach, with fresh surroundings, and the rooms are close to high-end quality and well maintained. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. Prices for the rooms and food are fair. Recommended.

Our room had a wonderful view, and the sunsets really do fit the name Calypso Sunset. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, too. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive from the start. The food was excellent and was also available next door, since the manager oversees both places.

The setup was lovely and thoughtfully arranged for our group, and we could enjoy the time together without stress. During our honeymoon at Calypso Sunset Beach Hotel, we stayed in the sunset suite, with its spacious room, elegant decor, and private balcony looking out over the sea. Sunrise over the water and the sound of gentle waves were beautiful. The clean room had flower petals on the bed, a fruit platter, and welcome wedding songs, so it was clear they knew we were celebrating. The honeymoon stay felt magical from arrival, almost like stepping into a postcard. Staff were warm and attentive, met our requests with a smile, and remembered our names and preferences. Calypso sunset beach hotel made memories we'll always treasure. We're already planning to return for an anniversary.
