We spent three weeks in this breathtaking villa and wished we could have stayed three more. Everything about the accommodation felt perfect, and the terrace view deserves more than five stars. We definitely want to return.

Villa Monkey House was one of the highlights of our time down south on our recent tour of Sri Lanka. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with awesome views to sit back and relax with. Great beaches and local attractions are easy to reach. Highly recommended!

The view at Villa Monkey House is hard to get tired of, and the stay was one of our most memorable holiday experiences. We had an air-conditioned bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking at home, and a private pool. Villa D’Art Hotel is just a stroll away for cocktails, massages, and meals. We sometimes had food delivered to the villa and sometimes went over to the hotel to mingle with other guests. The food was delicious, and we ended up eating there often. I didn’t take any photos because I was too busy tucking in! Huge thanks to George and the team for making us feel so welcome.

We spent 10 days at this stunning villa and enjoyed every minute. The pool and terrace were wonderful places to relax while taking in the incredible views and listening to the jungle. The beds were super comfortable, and the villa was luxuriously fitted out. Wildlife is all around, with monkeys in the trees and views over the paddy fields and Mountains of the National Park. Beautiful Tangalle Beach is only a few minutes’ drive away. The D’Art Villa staff who manage Monkey House looked after every need, including food and transport. The food was amazing. We plan to return later this year and will definitely stay at Monkey House again when we visit Tangalle. It’s the best place we’ve found in the area, first class!

The photos really don’t do this place justice! It’s the best spot I’ve ever been to in Sri Lanka. 🙏🏻🥰
