We booked the whole bungalow for a family outing, and it was calm and peaceful with great views. The staff were very good and accommodating. It was also so close to Colombo that we could pop back for a class or meeting in between.

A good spot to spend time with family or friends and have a nice time. The food there is pretty expensive, though.

The only thing I was happy with was the clean swimming pool and its nice view, very close to the river. The rest was a disappointment. They advertise a lot online, but there isn't a clear sign to guide visitors. Google Maps doesn't show the hotel correctly, and Uber drivers went to the wrong place. After I called, I had to ask for directions and come back 500 meters. The road is really narrow and in such bad condition that driving along it was difficult. There was only a small, very old banner at the entrance, and the information had faded in the sunlight. The room wasn't clean, with dust all over the floor, and the bathroom smelled bad. I left the bathroom window open all day, and the hot water shower still didn't work. We also cancelled lunch because the chicken was very salty and smelled bad.

The location was great, but the food was a huge letdown. Our room also took a long time to get ready because the owner or someone was staying in it. Staff said we could go in while they were still there, but they eventually left and the room was ready.
