I've stayed here many times on business trips, and the owner and staff have always been friendly and helpful. They try to give customers a good experience, and there are lots of regulars. I used to stop overnight while travelling around the Polonnaruwa area. Dinner can be arranged, and you can ask for tea anytime. I made a point of having that tea on every visit. The rooms and bathrooms are good for the price, though they aren't all in the same condition. Some are very comfortable, while others less so. I hope they keep improving. It's worth trying if you're visiting the area for work.

Worst place ever. The restaurant doesn't even have a clean washroom for guests. They claim it's all you can eat, but there was no food at all.

A small motel on the way to Polonnaruwa New town. Prices are reasonable, with a decent double room for 1500/=. Calm and quiet.
