The woman who runs the place was always smiling and ready to help. She made us a lovely dinner and breakfast. Our room was comfortable and very clean, decorated beautifully with flowers, and the whole place felt welcoming and relaxing.

I stayed one night, and for the money it was a good option. It’s a small hotel with three or four rooms, and although they’re small, they have almost everything you need. The place is still being developed, especially the garden, which could use more work. There’s a nice setting for having a drink at night, but no restaurant service. Management was good and the staff were very friendly.

The owner is a lovely, humble lady, and the place is clean and tidy with reasonable prices. There are four or five rooms, a kitchen, bathrooms with hot-water showers, and parking for a few vehicles. The entrance road is small, but it’s a beautiful spot to stay with your family while visiting the Polonnaru area. Enjoy Polonnaruwa and keep it clean.

There’s a small jungle feel around this nice place, and the smiling owner was welcoming. The access road is broken, though. Jungle animals such as toque macaques (rilava) can cause some trouble, but that’s a general issue in the Polonnaruwa area.
