The family were so hospitable and always ready to help make our stay better. They also bake, and the fresh hot bread is worth trying, especially for avocado toast in the morning. There’s a small kitchen for simple meals, or you can have homemade food by auntie. Bikes are in very good condition and available to guests at a discount for 1200/day. The room felt fresh and newly made, surrounded by tree shade, with no road noise. It was peaceful and quiet. A great choice if you want a safe, clean, comfortable room at a good price. The garden was well maintained, so that earned the one star. But the room had a pungent smell and the bathrooms were unhygienic. If you want a good night’s sleep on clean sheets, this isn’t the place.

The hosts are such a sweet, kind, and lovely family. This is the best place to stay in Mirissa, and the house is perfect. They’re the nicest people from Sri Lanka I’ve ever met. Everyone should stay here :)
