Priyanthi, the owner and hostess, did so much to make us comfortable and happy during our stay. The barbecue was excellent and all the food was very tasty. With its peaceful feel, homely atmosphere, and beautifully kept gardens, this villa is a lovely choice for a family outing. We’ll definitely come back.

I don't know how anyone could arrange an event at this place. The person I spoke with never seemed to trust me, talking as if I was going to rob her, and she didn't provide proper details.

The phone communication was very poor, and the rooms weren't clean. The food wasn't good enough to recommend either. This is one of the least recommendable hotels I've come across. Thank you.

Priyanthi, the owner, looked after us extremely well, and we had a great stay. The surroundings are magnificent, the pool was just right, and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The modern shower had piping hot water. The food was really good, though it would be nice to have a few more western options for foreign guests. We live in Sri Lanka and didn't mind the Sri Lankan dishes, but a more varied menu might bring in more foreign visitors. A couple of little things: mattresses on the sunbeds would be welcome. We spent two wonderful days at Tranquilla and will certainly return.

We had a wonderful get-together recently with 50 ladies. The property was very clean and well maintained, and both the food and service were very good. I'd love to spend a weekend here with friends and family sometime.
