Sanjis The Seaside Cabanas

We didn't stay overnight, just stopped by for a really tasty coffee and a chat with the owner, Sanji. He was kind and easy to talk to, and told us a little about his life and trips to Europe and our country. If you're after a good European-style machine coffee, this is the spot :)

The hotel has lovely staff and a great chef, and it's very close to a beautiful beach. But I wouldn't recommend it because of the owner. We had to spend two days sorting out a change to our reservation, and each day he came up with new problems. There was nothing to do nearby, and the ocean in that area is very dangerous for swimming, especially with kids. The pool was dirty, and we couldn't use it during the last two days either. If you do stay here, handle everything through booking.com. Otherwise, you may end up in very uncomfortable and strange situations with the owner and hotel management.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and all the plants and greenery around the property made it feel lovely. Being able to go straight to the beach was another plus. We had a relaxing, pleasant stay, with very friendly staff. Sanji was especially attentive and professional.

Swimming in the sea may not be possible because of the strong waves and currents, but the pool is there for a refreshing dip. The beach itself is wonderfully quiet, with hardly anyone around, and the hotel is nicely built with direct access to it. Sanjis is a great place to relax. The rooms are nice, and I loved the outdoor bathroom. Air conditioning was the one thing missing. Breakfast is included and was good. The meals we tried were tasty, though the prices felt rather high compared with the rest of the country. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
