Greenwood Hotel Sigiriya

The shower was hit and miss, which was the one thing that let the stay down a little. Otherwise, the room was huge, with a big bed, and felt tucked away in nature. The place has recently been updated, too. Our host was so kind and made sure we were looked after, and the attentive service included breakfast on both days. It felt like an idyllic escape.

Seetha made my stay special. She works hard, is always smiling, and is wonderful with guests. She can also take you to her family farm, which is a great experience. The place itself was very clean and beautiful, with great value for the money. It sits in a botanical garden about a 10-minute walk from the main center, and I felt very safe walking there at night. There are several hostels along the driveway. I loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place.

We would've gladly stayed longer with these lovely people in their peaceful green oasis 🌱. The room was great, really clean, with air conditioning, a hairdryer, mosquito net, and a very big, comfy bed. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing 🤩 ❤️

There were peacocks all around the property, which was lovely. The clean, comfortable room and tasty included breakfast made for a really nice stay just a couple of kilometers from Sigiriya.
