We almost booked a better-known hotel nearby, but we're really glad we chose this place. Both local and international guests were treated with the same care and respect, which stood out to us. It may not look especially luxurious from outside, but the rooms were comfortable, the property was very clean, and the service was better than we expected. The owner greeted us with a warm smile, and the assistant was helpful. Their kindness and sincerity made us feel at home. Staff were attentive and trustworthy, and the property was kept to a high standard. The meals were delicious and well prepared. It's peaceful, affordable, and offers honest hospitality, so we'd happily recommend it.

The traditional breakfasts were a real highlight, with something different each morning, and the garden was gorgeous. Our host and his family were so welcoming and always available to help. The room was spacious and spotless, with a lovely green balcony that was just right after a long day out. We had a wonderful stay at Nice View Lodge and couldn't have asked for more. Thanks so much, we hope to return!

We loved how peaceful the balcony felt, surrounded by lush greenery, and the lodge made a great base for seeing the Sigiriya area. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The host was fantastic and went out of his way to help, including arranging a scooter for us. Breakfast was delicious and changed every morning. Nice View Lodge is an easy recommendation if you're staying in Sigiriya.

Nice View Lodge made for a memorable stay. The setting is full of greenery and animals, and town, nearby restaurants, and a view of Lion's Rock are all within an easy walk. Udit was warm, welcoming, and ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were very clean and looked newly renovated, and breakfast was a lovely home-cooked spread. Thanks, Udit!

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay at Nice View Lodge. Over two days they served several curries, string hoppers, roti, sambol, Sri Lankan crepes, sweet rice, omelet, and more, and it was delicious. The lodge is near the Sigiriya rock climb and fun tourist activities like the local village tour. We even saw wild elephants on roads nearby. The location is great, the rooms feel luxurious and were impeccably clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We can't fault our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
