What made the stay unforgettable was the lovely family. From the start they made us feel at home, and the food was absolutely delicious. The spacious room had everything we needed, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was huge and changed every day, but dinner was even better. We ate there three times because it was so good. The woman cooked 18 different curries for us, and every one was delicious!

Their son Tharu deserves special thanks for being such a good tour guide. On safari, he treated the animals and their surroundings respectfully. We also had a lot of fun cooking together, and Jaana made us a delicious meal once. We spent several nights with this wonderful family and had a great time. We'd definitely recommend staying a few nights.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the family's warmth was what made this the best place I stayed during my three weeks travelling around Sri Lanka. Everyone was incredibly welcoming. Their son took us on safari, where we saw so many elephants. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The mum even gave us a fun cooking lesson with her wonderful daughter, and I loved learning from them. I tried to write down the recipes and put together some recipe cards as a gift. I'm not sure how to send them, so I'm adding them to this review. I hope you like them and that I've remembered everything right. My daughter and I spent a night in the large family room and had a lovely time. The family were so friendly and accommodating, and they served us a delicious rice and curry breakfast. A pleasure to stay there, and I recommend it.

Jaana's garden is lovely, and having breakfast there each morning felt special. The family were kind, attentive and eager to help, and the breakfast and dinner they made us were delicious. Our room was cozy and well equipped. We were very comfortable here and recommend it 100%.
