Being so close to Sigiriya Rock was a big plus for our group of eight. We could walk to the entrance, which is especially handy if you're heading up early for sunrise. The hotel felt peaceful and beautifully kept, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. Our rooms were roomy and comfortable, with impressively large bathrooms. There was a good range of food, and we found it decent. We had a very pleasant two-night stay at Sigiriya Village Hotel, with a relaxing setting and convenient location. We’d recommend it to visitors.

On 07th February 2026, we visited Sigiriya Village Hotel with around 150 employees. The team managed our large group smoothly and professionally, and their support and hospitality were excellent from arrival onward. We booked full board, with all three meals served as a buffet. There was a wide choice of food, and our group especially enjoyed the action corner. The calm atmosphere and lovely view of Sigiriya Rock Fortress made it a relaxing place for everyone to spend time together. A memorable outing for us, and we'd recommend it for a getaway or corporate event.

The gardens were well kept, the atmosphere peaceful, and the views of Sigiriya Rock breathtaking. Our room was clean and comfortable, meals were delicious with lots of choice, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and very friendly. The facilities made for a relaxing, memorable stay at Sigiriya Village Hotel. Highly recommend it for a visit to Sigiriya, and we hope to return.

Bhagya, Sarath, and the rest of the team gave helpful, excellent service. We enjoyed the Lion Rock view, food, atmosphere, and resort feel, plus the big buffet selection. It was a very busy hotel with lots of tourist buses, though. Our room could use some maintenance, and I’d have preferred brighter lighting, but we still enjoyed the stay.

The pool looking out at Lion Rock was a highlight, and there was a great buffet with lots of dishes to choose from. Staff were accommodating with our requests and kept checking that we were happy. We had a wonderful weekend at Sigiriya Village Hotel, with a super clean, comfortable room and good amenities.
