A lovely homestay with a friendly host who helps sort out arrangements and travel plans. The food is traditional Sri Lankan, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, and the place still feels connected to the jungle.

The hostess is warm and friendly, and the place has a genuinely restful feel. It sits in a quiet garden a little off the main route, though the main road is still close enough for a bus or tuk-tuk. Lion Rock is about a 20-minute walk away. Our room was cozy, clean, and well equipped, with AC and a clean bathroom with a shower and hot water. Great value for the money, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here when visiting Sigiriya.
