The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were clean and really spacious. A great place to stay if you want to be near Pidurangala and Lion rock, fully recommend!

It’s only 300 meters from the Sigiriya local entrance, so getting to the rock is easy. There’s also a viewpoint within walking distance that’s worth a look. Choona Lodge was clean and well maintained, with friendly, helpful staff. The price felt fair for the location and facilities. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya.

The room was nice, and the place was very quiet, though we could hear our neighbors a bit. We enjoyed the pool after touring with my Daughter, and the food was nice for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay.

They gave us lovely soursop juice when we arrived. The double rooms are okay, and the hotel does what you need without going beyond expectations. The walls are extremely thin, so you hear everything through them, which can lead to unpleasant exchanges with impolite people.

The owner is very friendly, and we could talk with him in English and Arabic, which was really cool. He arranged a tuk-tuk for our 5 a.m. trip to Sigiriya Rock, and the fried rice we had for dinner on our first night was good. Our two-night stay was really pleasant, and the rooms were clean. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, since Sigiriya was very hot and humid then. Apart from that, everything went smoothly.
