Yoho Sigiriya Road

It’s a family business, and you can feel how warm everyone is. The owner was super friendly, and they helped us figure out local activities, trips, and transport. We went for New Year’s, and they made it special with a bonfire, fireworks, and free punch for everyone. Breakfast was included and amazing, as was dinner, which guests could help cook. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We had a great time here in Sigiriya. The staff were lovely, and the location was great. They offer fun things to do, including cooking classes and trips to nearby lakes. The food was delicious, too. Totally recommend it if you’re in the area :)

The sunset hike was especially amazing. This jungle hostel feels like an oasis, and sleeping in the tree houses was a really cool experience. Waking up to the sounds of nature all around was lovely. They offer lots of activities, like a safari in the nearby national park, a lake tour, and sunrise or sunset hikes to the two mountains around Lion Rock. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast and dinner were included and amazing, so the price felt more than fair. Great for a few nights in Sigirya. And there’s a cute dog.

A lovely place for a solo traveller, with shared breakfasts and dinners, organized activities, and staff who create a great atmosphere. There’s no wifi in the rooms or phone reception, but that does get you socializing, which I liked. They can arrange lots of activities, and I highly recommend the safari. Thanks for a fabulous stay.
