We only stayed two nights, but had a fantastic time. It’s right by the ocean, and our wonderful host made us feel at ease. She also prepared an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast for us in the morning.

The beach is just a few steps away, and the owners are so kind and caring. They make sure you have what you need, and serve a delicious breakfast with fruit and Sri Lankan dishes. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

We had a great time here. The rooms were clean and cosy, and the family were warm and friendly. Breakfast was huge and delicious, and dinner here one night was high quality, with generous portions and a better price than the beachfront places. It’s worth staying for the birds outside, relaxing on the balcony, and the occasional monkeys. They’re shy and keep their distance. The area is beautiful and quiet, right by Tallala beach, and we felt it was well worth the money.

The family were very helpful and friendly, and they made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. They even brought our towels in out of the rain when we were away. Breakfast changed every day and was always delicious, with fresh coffee and fruit each time. We had a great time and would happily return.

I trusted the laundry service and was really disappointed by what happened. Our underwear came back with holes, the swimsuits had stretched and lost their elasticity, and some clothes had dark stains. We only noticed after leaving because the laundry took an extra day to dry, so we had to pack up and go right away. Now there’s no way for us to get in touch and complain. I never expected to have to write this.
