The staff are super friendly, and the deck leading to the beach is great. There’s a private beach, and because the villa has limited rooms, fewer than ten guests stay at a time, which keeps things quiet and peaceful. The rooms don’t have a beach view, and breakfast is very basic: just toast, cereals, juice or tea.

A nice experience in a hidden gem within a busy tourist area. The rooms have attractive old Italian architecture, and the staff’s warm hospitality is a real plus. It’s also well connected to talpe beach. You may spot turtles near the beach early in the morning.

I’ve come back to this place, and met guests who have been returning for years. The restaurant is well worth considering, and the staff are very attentive. Absolutely amazing!

After discovering that the hotel we’d booked had closed, we took a chance on WB Villas and felt as if we’d won the lottery. The villas were relaxed and beautifully presented, with amazing food, service, beach, rooms, flora and fauna. We came, saw, and will return 💯. Keep up the great work, team WB. Say hi to Rosie and Michael, your aquatic hosts. 🐢🐢

The food was so good that we never felt tempted to eat elsewhere, and the staff were attentive, ready to help with anything. It was lovely being right on the beach, with the chance to swim with turtles right there in the water. Great for snorkelling, too. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The markets and local sights are close by, including Galle, Koggal lake, Weligama and Mirissa.
