Muthu 94 Villa

We were here for a week and found the simple accommodation really handy, especially the kitchen, since we were on a budget and could make our own breakfast and lunch. The family running the place took care of everything we needed and were very accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying here :)

We really enjoyed our three and a half months at Villa Muthu. The three-bedroom villa is spacious and has a national style, with a lovely courtyard full of fruit trees. Monkeys often came by and ran across the roof, and we even saw a peacock in the yard. Muthu and his parents are kind, friendly, and always ready to help. When April got very hot, they installed an air conditioner in the house at our request. Muthu’s mom cooks very well and will make you dinner for a little money. His dad drives a tuk-tuk and is happy to take you where you need to go. There’s a mosquito net by each bed, which matters in warm countries where mosquitoes can carry dengue and malaria. I recommend this house to everyone, and we’ll definitely return when we can!

There are passion fruit, mango, and papaya trees right in the garden, and the owners treated us to groceries when all the shops were closed. We’ll stay here again when we return. Muthu 94 Villa has a lovely atmosphere and is good value if you want somewhere quiet and authentic near a noisy resort town. The owners are sincere and kind, and live in the other part of the house. We each had our own entrance and plenty of privacy, without bothering one another. The house is spacious and simple, but arranged with taste and care. Fresh coconut or passion fruit from the garden is wonderful. I really recommend it ❤️

A great villa at a very good price, clean and close to the beach. The owners are so friendly and keep checking how they can help. One of the rooms has air conditioning. Definitely recommend it.
