There’s a shared kitchen and fridge on the top floor, plus rooftop space to eat. Our room was spacious and well kept, with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a large balcony. The beach is very close, and you can see it from the balcony.

The upstairs kitchen and dining area was a real bonus, giving our family a relaxed place to eat breakfast together. Ishara was such a friendly, welcoming host. Our spacious room and balcony worked perfectly for us. I’d recommend staying here if you want to be near Mirissa but outside the centre.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and I ended up extending my stay twice. The place was clean by Western standards, and the rooftop kitchen and dining room, with its lovely view, came in handy. South Sri Lanka’s beaches are easy to reach from here: Turtle beach, coconut tree heal, and parrot rock are all walkable, as are restaurants and fruit stands. Thanks for the great service!

We stayed here for a month, and it was a lovely place. The price and quality were well balanced, and the rooms had everything we needed. There’s a big rooftop terrace with the kitchen, and eating there while watching the sunsets and ocean views felt magical. Yoga classes were also held here. Shops and cafes are within walking distance, and the quiet beach is just 3 minutes away. It suited a holiday with a small child well, since Turtle Beach is almost always calm, with no waves. The hostess is kind and keen to help. It really is a heavenly place. I recommend it.
