Sea World Mirissa Beach

We stayed three nights and would happily come back. The ocean was very close, and from the comfortable sunbeds you can even see Coconut Hill. The hotel sits between Parrot Rock and Coconut Hill, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room had a great sea view and was well equipped. The shower was clean, as was the nice pool. Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with fruit, an omelette or pancake, bread and jam, tea or coffee, and a smoothie. WiFi was quite good for Sri Lanka.

I could hear the waves as I fell asleep, and the bedding was really comfortable. The balcony looked out over the beach, pool, and Coconut Tree Hill. The building looks humble from the outside, but the rooms are beautiful. Sea World Boutique Hotel is on a quieter stretch of beach, yet the cafes and restaurants in the busier tourist area are within walking distance. The staff were kind and accommodating. They even let me use the pool and stay after checkout while I waited for my airport pickup. I’d definitely return.

Breakfast by the sea and palm trees was amazing: freshly plated fruit, fresh juice, eggs cooked to order, tea or coffee, toast with a choice of jams, and banana pancakes if you still had room. Coconut tree hill is only minutes away, and you can see it from the pool and balcony. We spent three nights here with breakfast after leaving a truly appalling hotel. We walked in to ask about availability and see a room, and they immediately said it was no problem. The two sea view rooms we saw were beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed. We were so glad they could fit us in. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They did everything they could to make the stay special. Thank you for making it so memorable. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent two lovely weeks at Sea World Boutique Hotel, with a cozy room overlooking the ocean. The location, pool, and private beach were all highlights. It felt like the best spot on the whole coast. We’re grateful for the memories and will remember our time here warmly.
