Dinner was really tasty, and breakfast combined European and Sri Lankan dishes. The park tour was fantastic: we went in the afternoon and spotted lots of elephants. From the house, there’s a path straight to the river where you can sit, read, relax, or swim. The place itself feels like it used to be an ordinary apartment building, with rooms inside. Ours had a double bed, a fan, and a mirror; there’s also a shared bathroom down the hall, plus a TV and stereo in the common room. The main road is right next to the property, but luckily we couldn’t hear it from our room. The bed, though, was so old it was nearly falling apart.
