The Sri Lankan rice and curry was delicious. The place also has a relaxing atmosphere and comfortable rooms with all the facilities. There are some bunnies too, and you can feed them and take pictures.

Right in the middle of Tissamaharama town, City Guest House still feels tucked into a green little spot. It’s a charming, comfortable, clean, and beautiful place, with a peaceful and appealing setting.

This is basic accommodation, but clean and has what you need for a night before heading to Yala. It’s family-run, and the staff are very friendly, happy to chat and get to know you. I’d suggest trying their dinner, around 450 rupees, tasty enough and filling.
