Ruchira and the whole team were the standout for me. They were attentive, supportive, and always there when we needed something. Tamarind Tree is a small boutique hotel, but it's wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable, and the food is delicious, though the selection is limited. One of the best places we've stayed in Sri Lanka, and a really lovely, memorable visit. Highly recommended if you're looking to unwind.

The breakfast choice was smaller than at other hotels, probably because there were only a few guests. We appreciated the hotel's effort to cut food waste, though we'd suggest starting breakfast at 7:00 AM instead of 7:30 for people heading out early. The room was spacious, the beds quite comfortable, and the Wi-Fi reliable. Staff were friendly, and we had a nice stay at this peaceful hotel.

The buffet food was incredible, with fresh dishes coming out regularly, and the cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. It's a down-to-earth place with all the modern comforts we needed. We had an excellent family stay at Hotel Tamarind Tree. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful from check-in through check-out. I'd happily recommend it, and will be back next time I'm in the area.

The meals were a treat, and our room was spotless and comfortable. The pool is on the small side, but it was well maintained and enjoyable. We stayed one night on a full-board basis at Tamarind Tree, and the staff welcomed us with cheerful help and warm smiles from the moment we arrived. Thanks for a memorable stay!

The rooms are spacious and kept neat. We arrived late at night after a train ride, and since we were vegetarian, the staff made chapati, curry, and salad for us. The service was really good. They also packed breakfast as requested for our early morning safari the next day.
