Hotel Alas Garden

The atmosphere here made me feel very welcome, and I’ve only had good experiences, despite some of the reviews I’ve seen. The garden is beautiful, the rooms and property are very clean, and the hotel staff try to help with everything. When I got sick, I needed to go to the hospital and the owner took me there. He refused the money I tried to give him. He also helped me with my medicaments and checked whenever he saw me to ask if I was feeling better. The other staff offered help too, since I couldn’t walk very well. Thanks for everything!

I regret staying at this hotel. The owner was rude and completely incompetent, and nothing about the way the place is run felt professional. The staff weren’t helpful and basic hospitality was missing. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

I booked this for 3 days, but had to request a cancellation because of a hospital emergency. The hotel management responded terribly, saying to me, “i will die in hospital”. What does hospitality even mean? If zero stars were an option, I’d give that, but unfortunately I can’t.

The owner was very friendly and ready to help with anything, and it was a quiet, lovely place. We paid Rs 3500 for one family room, which was very reasonable. The property has a large garden, though there’s no separate parking area. We booked 3 family rooms, all clean and spacious. Some had one double bed and two single beds, while the room shown in the photos had 3 single beds.
