Resort Maya Beach

We had such a peaceful, relaxing vacation at Maya Beach Resort. Waking to the waves and watching the sun come up over the ocean was magical, and the location is stunning. Our clean, comfortable rooms had a lovely tropical design. The restaurant's fresh seafood and local Sri Lankan dishes were delicious. We also had fun in the cookery class and learned some local recipes. The staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. If you want a calm, scenic getaway with warm hospitality, this is a lovely choice. Can't wait to come back!

There's a 10% service charge that isn't listed on the menu. The food was really well prepared, filling, and a pleasure to eat, and they were reasonably flexible about bringing something we'd enjoy. The place is beautifully arranged, with a great vibe, and the staff are warm, attentive, and lovely without hovering. A wonderful spot to spend a day at the beach.

We don't know about the rooms since we didn't stay overnight, but we spent loads of time here. It's our favorite beach spot at uppuveli, with welcoming staff and owner, plus great drinks and food to enjoy by the beach during the day. Try the amazing herb cocktail " Maya Special". One of the best I've had in my cocktail life 💜

I kept trying something different from the menu each day, and the food was delicious every time. The beachside restaurant has a very friendly, attentive team. I especially want to thank the manager Leonard, who puts in so much effort to make the place cozy and comfortable. He's a cool guy. If I had a manager like him at my restaurant, I wouldn't have to worry about anything. The waiter Dilshot deserves a mention too, he's kind, attentive, and always smiling. Thanks for such a lovely rest. I want to come back again and again. Good luck 🍀
