The rooms are surprisingly good for the price, and you're right in the middle of things. Mine was spacious, fully tiled to a high standard, with air conditioning, a fan, a fridge-freezer, a long double bed, and hot water. It was cleaned every day to an almost naval standard. The staff were gentle, attentive, and quietly humble. Little things were taken care of, like an ashtray appearing and sun loungers being moved beside our downstairs balcony. There's no bar or restaurant, so it feels more like a homestay, but it's done to a high standard. They don't arrange scooters or laundry, but pointed us where to go without fuss. Shops, bars, restaurants, the beach, and an ATM are all about 200 metres away. The wine shop is roughly 500 metres towards the petrol station, and tuk-tuks are everywhere and cheap. Some people leaving one-star reviews might try treating the kind staff with respect instead of like servants. This place doesn't deserve those reviews.
