They treated us like family and were incredibly helpful. Our train wasn't until 7:30 PM on checkout day, so they let us stay later without charging extra. The room was great value and the service was excellent. Thank you so much, I'd highly recommend this place!

The owners were lovely and friendly, and breakfast was perfect. Our cabana was very clean and had AC. It's in Uppuveli, away from the beach where most of the guesthouses and hotels are. That actually suited us, since it was peaceful and we could sleep at night. Probably the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

The meals area is in a separate covered, open-air space, with an amazing lagoon view. There are four lovely huts with wooden interiors, attached bathrooms, and great bedding. Three huts have air conditioning. It was a lovely experience overall.

The cabanas are beautiful, new, and comfortable, with a picturesque landscape. Meals are expensive nearby, though the cheapest we found was 7to11, a couple hundred meters away. There are no filtered water dispensers, so carry mineral water. Bring mosquito repellent, especially if you have kids. The caretaker and cook aren't very fluent in English, which might be a problem. The directions are wrong: from Nilaveli Road, turn left after passing “Divine Mercy Shrine”.
