Buddika and the rest of the team were courteous and very helpful. Buddika arranged a five-hour safari with Siri, who was brilliant, so make sure you organize it with Buddika. We picked this place for its location near the national park safari, and the room, shower, and bathroom were all brand new and modern. Dinner was chicken Kottu, the best we'd had in Sri Lanka. Brilliant accommodation, highly recommend. Thank you!

Buddika made the place special. He was always up for a chat and offered several safari options from his guide. We went at 1:00pm, when the park was quietest, and saw very few other jeeps during the first 90 minutes around lunchtime. The next morning, with an hour to spare before leaving, he walked us through the sugar cane and rice fields behind the property and explained village life. The property is right by the national park entrance, and the modern, spacious accommodation was among the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Dinner was a tasty traditional Sri Lankan curry, with Jackfuit from the garden, followed by a hearty breakfast. A special stay with a caring, kind host. Highly recommended.

The owner and Shanaka, our jeep driver, were both super helpful and nice. The hotel is just a minute from the safari park entrance. Shanaka was thoughtful and knowledgeable, and his amazing eagle eyes helped him find so many animals. I really enjoyed the safari with him. Absolutely recommended!

Buddika arranged both our safari and a transfer to another hotel, and the prices were fair. The safari was wonderful, and our driver, Siri, spoke English well. The location is perfect for Udawalawa National Park, and our room was clean, spacious, and had working A/C. We had delicious local food for breakfast, and lunch or dinner is available on request. We stayed 7 - 8 Dec 2025, and it was safe to travel in the region because it hadn't been affected by floods. Amazing place, highly recommended!

The owner explained the safari choices clearly and helped us pick one that suited travelling with small children. He arranged everything smoothly around our needs, and we were happy to book both our stay and safari through him. He could also organize affordable, reliable tuk-tuk rides into town or to the Elephant Transit Home. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and everything felt new and well looked after. Home-cooked meals from breakfast to dinner were fresh, tasty, and affordable, and the owner adjusted dishes to suit our kids. It's brand new and extremely clean, right by the entrance to Udawalawe National Park, which worked perfectly for a family safari stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Udawalawe.
