The host family were lovely and welcoming. They picked us up near town and drove us to the villa, which would have been hard for us to find, then took us to a restaurant they recommended for supper. The food there was delicious. We also arranged our safari through them, which made everything straightforward. We stayed one night and enjoyed it. The place is surrounded by peaceful, unspoilt nature, and the air conditioning was good.

We had dinner for just 4€, and the food was great with really generous portions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the people running the hostel were incredibly kind and welcoming. It has a warm, familiar feel, and everything, including the safari they arranged for us, was well organized. Would definitely recommend it!

The place is tucked away in the jungle, though you can get there easily by car. Our hosts were so kind and clearly cared about how we were doing. They made us dinner and breakfast, took us on safari in their Jeep, and even packed us a lunch for the trip. Thank you for such a lovely time!

The family were lovely, and the rooms were really clean. The price was very cheap, but there was no catch. We had a good dinner and breakfast during the safari the husband offered us. I’d come back straight away :)

We paid 9£ a night between the two of us, so the value for money was insane. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The hosts are really sweet and can make you a Sri Lanka breakfast. They can also take you on a safari tour in their jeep for a good price. The place is hidden in a jungly setting, with all sorts of birds and animals in the garden. We saw mongoose, crazy birds and squirrels. Apparently there can be monkeys in the morning too!
