The pool was the best part for me. We swam at night, then again after the morning safari while warm tropical rain splashed up from the water. Our bungalow was comfortable, with a big bathroom, a fridge, and supplies for making tea or coffee. Bottled water was provided too. The staff were friendly, efficient, and fun to be around. We had a lovely curry for dinner and a fantastic Sri Lankan breakfast after the safari. The location is ideal for a tour of Udawalawe national park.

We stayed for a few days almost a week ago and really loved this place. It's tucked away from the main road, the pool is great, and everything was super clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka.

We booked our safari through The Countryside and had a great time. The hotel feels like a little oasis, with a lovely atmosphere and super friendly, helpful staff. Dinner there was really good, and there are other places to eat just a short walk away. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

They gave us a packed breakfast for our early safari departure, and it was pretty tasty. The room cleanliness, though, left a lot to be desired. The towels had stains, including a clearly visible blood stain on one, and the bath mat was supposed to be white but looked brown and beige. The floor inside was very dusty too. My socks got dirty as soon as I walked around.

The staff were so accommodating and really did everything they could for us. They even let us stay half an hour past checkout so we could shower after the safari. The rooms were clean and the pool was beautiful. Breakfast was wow, so tasty! I'd recommend it and would definitely come back if I were in the area again.
